Medium and Large Companies Have Unique Needs —
A Custom Real Estate Brokerage Website Helps Tell Your Story

In addition to everything we might consider “standard” for an enterprise real estate brokerage website, Nautilent is also able to design and develop fully custom real estate brokerage websites and sub-sites for their teams and agents. We understand that no two enterprise real estate brokerages are alike, so we work closely side-by-side with you to design and implement a totally unique website fitted to suit your unique needs. From beginning to end — from landing pages to listings, from roster to community pages — our team of designers and developers will be working with you to create the website you’ve always wanted.

Custom Websites Nautilent

A custom real estate brokerage website isn't a single thing — it's a process. A process between your brokerage, and our dedicated teams of project managers, designers, developers, client care representatives, marketing specialists, SEO experts and others. Once your new site is live, the process doesn't end there, either: Our Concierge Support team is your team from here on out, available by chat, email and phone 12 hours a day. We help with training, bug fixes, updating content, adding SEO value and all sorts of other details, for as long as you're a client.

The Road to Custom Enterprise Real Estate Brokerage Websites

As we embark on a fully customized project, beginning with a blank slate, it is essential for us to gain a comprehensive understanding of your vision for the ideal website. To achieve this, we will arrange a consultation with our sales and product teams to define the project scope, including the desired features for the site's interface, CRM capabilities, various third-party integrations, and more. Our team will then convene to assess the potential costs associated with your requirements and develop a preliminary project outline. We will subsequently present you with a proposal. Should you find the proposal satisfactory, we will proceed with a contract, allowing us to commence the project promptly.

It is important to emphasize that, although we will have established a foundation for your project by this stage, nothing is set in stone. It is still early in the process, and we anticipate that you may have new ideas or wish to make adjustments. Indeed, it is a standard aspect of our process to accommodate such changes both before and after your site goes live. You have the flexibility to enhance your website through change orders at any time. Since each of our sites is independent, you can implement any modifications without impacting other Nautilent clients.

Contract Signed

After the contract is signed and you transition from our sales team to our project managers, the exciting part begins. Dive deep into envisioning exactly how you want your platform to look and function — Nautilent custom real estate brokerage websites are more than just a homepage with property images; they are comprehensive platforms. Consider how you want your entire online experience to unfold, from the front end to the back end: your personalized brokerage CRM, brokerage Intranet, IDX/VOW search capabilities, agent and team websites, roster pages, community pages, company blog, and much more.

Kickoff Call and Brainstorming

At this stage, we have developed a clear understanding of the direction we envision for your project, and we will present these concepts during our call. Given our extensive experience in the industry, we often generate valuable ideas; however, our primary focus is to understand your perspective. We often ask: If you had the ability to make any changes to your current brokerage platform vendor, what would they be? Our goal is to transform those aspirations into reality, and this call marks the beginning of that process.

Design Phase

This phase is perhaps the most enjoyable for both our team and our clients, yet it also demands considerable effort. It is crucial that both your team and ours maintain open communication throughout this process. We begin with initial concepts, often sketched on post-it notes and affixed to a cork board. Feedback is gathered on these ideas, prompting us to refine and iterate until we establish a foundational structure for both desktop and mobile viewing, known as the "wireframe."

We begin by meticulously arranging the elements: integrating photographs, incorporating text, and refining the styles. Once you have approved all the designs, you will have a comprehensive understanding of your website's appearance and functionality. Our next step is to transform these designs into a fully operational website.

Moreover, Nautilent's designers are highly skilled, excelling in both aesthetics and the overall user experience. Should you be collaborating with your own branding or design agency, we are more than willing to work in conjunction with them to create your ideal site. Previously, we have partnered with organizations such as 1000watt to ensure the precise visual representation of our clients' websites.

Scoping Your Project, Part Two

Upon approval of the final designs, we will conduct a thorough review of the previously outlined scope to provide a comprehensive understanding of the entire platform. Our teams will collaborate to identify any necessary revisions prior to and during the development phase. Should you require any modifications at this stage, we are equipped to implement them efficiently, ensuring the final product aligns perfectly with your requirements. We recognize that needs may evolve, and we are prepared to adjust our initial plans accordingly.

Development Begins

This phase represents the core of our work, allowing you to relax while we bring your customized website to fruition. We will require specific content from your existing website that you wish to transfer to the new platform. This includes agent contact information and headshots, blog posts, office details, community information, support staff details, "about us" content, and information about your brokerage's preferred charities. Please provide these materials, and we will manage the rest.

A significant aspect of this stage involves restructuring your entire site to optimize search engine performance, an area in which we take particular pride. We will, where necessary, revamp elements such as your internal link structure, photo alt tags, page load times, and page titles to enhance the search engine ranking of our custom real estate brokerage websites. It is important to note that our commitment to your SEO continues post-launch, as we review your SEO data bi-monthly or more frequently to monitor performance and implement improvements as needed.

In developing these custom real estate brokerage websites, we value your vision while we manage the intricate details. Upon completion of this phase, there may still be minor adjustments required, which our Quality Assurance team is prepared to address.

Quality Assurance

Behind the scenes, we will diligently test and refine the website until it meets our high standards. Our objective is to ensure that our custom real estate brokerage websites are nearly flawless before our clients begin utilizing them. Just as one would not test drive a new car before its completion, we aim to provide you with the most seamless experience possible once the website is operational.

Beta Testing

We are approximately 95 percent complete, but for the remaining 5 percent, we require your input. Please review our Beta version of the website: Does everything function as you envisioned during our initial discussion? If not, we will work together to achieve your vision. Have you identified any issues? Excellent, as this phase is designed for such discoveries. We are nearing completion—once we exit the Beta phase, you can prepare to celebrate.

Finishing Touches

Your team will now have access to the backend of your website as we finalize the remaining details. While we are integrating content and making necessary adjustments, our Concierge Support team will commence training your agents and staff on utilizing the new tools that will soon be at their disposal.
